cafp's annual events
The Family Medicine Clinical Forum is our largest meeting of the year. The Forum focuses on continuing medical education but also provides family physicians with opportunities to interact and network with their peers. The Forum is a two-day event that takes place in the spring.
The All Member Advocacy Meeting is your opportunity to get involved with CAFP's advocacy efforts. Spend the weekend in Sacramento learning leadership and advocacy skills, with content tailored to your professional development needs, followed by Family Medicine Lobby Day on Monday – a unique opportunity to let your elected representatives know the value of family medicine in improving the health of Californians.
The Family Medicine Summit is our annual event tailored to the interests of medical students, residents and residency program directors. This one-day conference provides attendees with opportunities to develop leadership skills and legislative advocacy acumen and gain clinical knowledge. The Summit is also an effective networking tool for medical students looking to launch careers in family medicine.
