The California Academy of Family Physicians is proud to announce Sen. Scott Wiener as the recipient of the 2025 Champion of Family Medicine Award. His leadership on SB 770, sponsorship of the 2025 Family Physician Week resolution, advocacy for AB 2250 in the Senate, and dedicated support for Song-Brown funding allocations exemplify his dedication to strengthening the primary care workforce and improving health equity.
