The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has established a National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners with requirements that all medical examiners who conduct physical examinations for interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers must complete a training course and pass a certification examination. Only providers who pass the test will be listed on the National Registry and able to perform the exams. CAFP is offering an advanced Department of Transportation Certified Medical Examiner training course. This training is compliant to the FMCSA and NRCME training requirements.
